[on my way]

months ago, crouched down to meet the eyes of a precious child, he asked in a sweet and simple voice, "what's a horizon?"

i gave him a sort of technical answer and he looked at me puzzled. he didn't know it was part of science and math and proven things.

but i have the right answer for him now. a horizon is that place where you can't tell the ocean from the sky. it's that place where dreams are made of and wishes come true. it's that place you find yourself when you realise that your "like" has turned to "love".

dear child, i'm sorry i didn't listen to your heart when you said it was an emotional thing.

[i am just learning myself what that place is. please excuse my incompetence.]
